Open Letter: Plea on Impeachment

by KrisAnne Hall, JD

To All The Impeachment Hypocrites-

I have truly had enough of this discussion of impeachment of Trump over the Obstruction of no crime. Yet there are those who wish to restructure the role of due process for all of America to facilitate their singular political agenda.  I am sick of this argument not because I am a “Trump sycophant.”  I am disgusted by this argument because I am a defender of Liberty, because I am a hater of hypocrisy!  Let me say again, according to the Mueller Report Trump committed no crime of collusion.  Yet, there are some in power who would invent an excuse for Investigation in order to create a crime.  This is not justice.  This ought to be scorned and shunned by every American who lives in this country built upon the principles of  Liberty & Due Process.

Yet, these same people who would create a precedent of injustice that will sweep away all the rights of every American, were stunningly silent on the actual criminality of Hillary Clinton.  Not one word of impeachment of a woman in power who ACTUALLY committed multiple crimes.  To the contrary, all sat by in accepting quietude while this same woman of power was denied the criminal consequences “common” Americans endure for the same and lesser acts.

Not one public outrage from these people when Eric Holder was found guilty of contempt by Congress and suffered not one single consequence.  And, again, no mass political demand for this actual criminal’s impeachment.  Lois Lerner, Loretta Lynch, James Comey, all have acted in public criminal conduct.  Where was the same hysterical persistence for “justice.”

So excuse me if I get passionate about a demand by those in power to create an atrocity of justice as they fabricate obstruction of “justice.”  Throughout history the powerful have frequently used the cry of justice to empower the demon horse of politics to willfully and utterly trample the liberties of the people.  It is time for the American people to dismount this beast of destruction, call out the hypocrites no matter their party or professed ideology.  It is time for Americans to make the directed and intentional decision to choose Liberty over the fabricated cries of these political prostitutes.

I will let Samuel Adams end my plea…

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you.  May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen!”

Sincerely,

KrisAnne Hall, JD
