Founding Principles as Pillars of Our Foreign Policy – Panel presentation by the Federalist Society

The Federalist Society

What role should Congress play in determining our country’s foreign policy?

On June 6, 2018, the Federalist Society’s Federalism & Separation of Powers Practice Group and the Article I Initiative co-sponsored an event on “Founding Principles as Pillars of our Foreign Policy. Featuring Rep. Mike Gallagher (WI-8), the panel discussed how the founding fathers allocated military powers in the Constitution, and whether that balance of power can or should continue in the modern age of warfare.

As always, the Federalist Society takes no particular legal or public policy positions. All opinions expressed are those of the speakers.
