On June 6, 2018, the Federalist Society’s Federalism & Separation of Powers Practice Group and the Article I Initiative co-sponsored an event on “Founding Principles as Pillars of our Foreign Policy. Featuring Rep. Mike Gallagher (WI-8), the panel discussed how the founding fathers allocated military powers in the Constitution, and whether that balance of power can or should continue in the modern age of warfare.
